My Artistic journey
Typically, my art comes from a sudden Inspiration. It feels like it gets 'downloaded' in an instant into my conscious brain, where it all comes together, all at once. I usually visualize my whole art piece in its final form before I even set foot into my studio. This makes me a very ‘logical’ artist (left brain). I can plan ahead and once inside my studio, all the pieces come together in the moment of creation (balancing left and right brain). I love this process which makes me feel focused.
Visual arts have always been part of my life. It gives me space to be myself and to feel good.
I pursued my passion throughout all my studies. I attended an artistic Elementary School, with Waldorf education. This type of pedagogy still inspires me today in my art and teaching methods. I then moved on to formalized Art Programs in both High School and University.

As an artist, I have exhibited my work at the Montreal Art Mûr Gallery, as well as the Art-Image Gallery and Le Troquet Café in Gatineau. In addition to attending Waldorf teacher’s training courses sporadically (teaching focused on creativity), I completed three courses in the Advanced Microprogram in Art Therapy at the University of Quebec (Abitibi-Témiscamingue). This allowed me to better understand the field of Art Therapy and to be sensitive to the emotions and personal development or difficulties of my students.
